NTI

Dear SHES Parent/Guardian,

Hancock County Schools will be participating in the Non-Traditional Instructional (NTI) day program as approved by the Kentucky Department of Education for the 2019-2020 school year. The NTI program will allow our school and district to utilize student time and work spent on activities at home to count toward instructional time missed due to inclement weather or other circumstances that would require us to be out of school. South Hancock students will have a grade appropriate packet of activities from which to choose beginning with the 5th day missed due to snow or other weather related reasons. This packet will be sent home before Christmas Break and will be uploaded to our website located at www.hancock.ky12.ky.us (click on the South Hancock link). If you have questions about the work, please email the teacher. When we return to school the papers completed by the student, and signed by the parent, will need to be returned to the classroom teacher.
