The HCHS Jazz Band will present a concert on Thursday April 27th in the HCHS Commons Area.  The concert will begin at 7pm.  This is the first time in my 11 years as band director that the jazz band has a full instrumentation.  They along will Ms. Allen and myself have a nice program for this concert.  We also have student vocalists to perform with the jazz band.

There is a $5 admission.  This money will go toward the Hornet Band Memorial Scholarship fund, (formerly the J.B. Troutman Scholarship).  The band boosters award two scholarships of $300 each to graduating members of the band to use toward college expenses.

I hope you will consider coming to listen to our students perform in this concert.  Coffee, tea, lemonade and desserts will also be served.
