My name is Anita Lamar and I am the Reading Specialist at North Hancock. I am a trained Reading Recovery teacher with 15 years of experience in that area. I attended the University of Kentucky where I majored in Early Childhood Education. I have 22 years of experience in the field of education.

I am a native of Hancock County and live in Lewisport. I have one son, Parker Findlay, who is currently serving our country in the United States Marine Corps. In my spare time I love attending UK sporting events and cheering on the "Big Blue"!
