October 26, 2019--Congratulations to the Hancock County Marching Hornets on their success this past weekend at the 2019 KMEA State Marching Band Championship.  In semi-finals competition at Greenwood High School in Bowling Green they overcame wind, rain and mud to win Best Overall Performance, a Distinguished Rating and a Second Place finish.  Ranking in the top four of their class, they moved on to finals competition at Houchens Industries – L.T. Smith Stadium on the Western Kentucky University campus where they brought home the Class A First Place trophy and Governor's Cup.
